Gluten-free Soho walking tour

I’m so excited to be launching my gluten-free Soho walking tour today!

I’m always on the look-out for a foodie tour in every city I visit but can rarely find one that caters for gluten-intolerant travellers. So I decided to pay-it-forward and share the GF love for my home city with people visiting London this summer!

I’ve lived in London for 12 years now and have worked in and around Soho for most of that time as it is the centre of the film and television industry. It’s a fascinating part of London with a colourful and fascinating history and is always somewhere I love to visit. It is also the centre of London, with loads of theatres and cinemas, and thus many wonderful places to eat! Pretty much every chain restaurant in London has a branch here and there are also some fantastic independent cafes and restaurants. It’s a real foodie hotspot and a fantastic spot for tourists to explore.

When I cut gluten out of my diet four years ago, I thought I would never be able to eat out ever again. Yet I quickly discovered a range of great gluten-free-friendly places: from ramen to burgers, cupcakes to cheesecake, pizza to ice cream, Soho has it covered!

I’m really looking forward to spending Friday mornings showing travellers around the area this summer.

UPDATE 2017: I’m afraid I no longer run this tour, but you can still find lots of gluten-free travel content on Minka Guides! I have gluten-free London map and guide available here.

Minka Guides was a queer travel and then an alternative lifestyle blog that existed from 2015-2025.

It’s no longer active, but please enjoy the archive.
